READING ROOTS CAMP
WHO THIS CAMP IS FOR?
Is your child between the ages of 5–7 and just beginning their reading journey?
Maybe they’re learning letter sounds, starting to read simple words, or building confidence with spelling and early reading skills.
Perhaps they would benefit from extra support and structured practice to help them work toward grade-level reading success.
Our summer reading camp is designed especially for young learners with emerging literacy skills who are ready to grow their confidence in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment!
We use evidence‑based practices, provide explicit instruction, offer small‑group intervention, and create a language‑rich environment to support oral language and literacy development.
This camp is best suited for children who:
✅can participate in small-group activities,
✅are able to listen to a short story (approximately 10 minutes),
✅and have speaking and listening skills that are generally within the expected range for their age.
A portion of the camp include stargeted small-group intervention sessions led by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. Because these sessions involve clinical intervention, receipts may be provided for submission to private health insurance plans where applicable.
